"Just nice"
This hotel is one of those that tries to be nice and trendy
but just doesn’t make it. It’s like the intention was good,
but they weren’t willing to put in the time and money to
make it a reality.
The rooms were basic at best, and
the facilities were not the cleanest. Of course, I stayed in
one of the cheaper rooms, so maybe the other ones would be
nicer. But for what it claims to be, I would think all the
rooms would be good. Also, it’s not actually in Palermo,
it’s just near Palermo. It’s not too far, a nice 5-10 block
walk, but still. And there was a fair amount of street
noise, too. On a good note, the staff was eally nice and
friendly and helpful. Also, breakfast (Argentine style) was
good and complete. But overall, I don’t think it was a good
value.

"nice hotel in great location near the zoo"
The Hotel is about 20 minutes by car from the "airport" and
enjoys a beautiful position in front of the sea and on this
"commercial" street where you can find an internet
cafe/travel agency, a cute pizzeria and a bar, other than
another couple of hotels. Very well structured and
organized, the Pirata Morgan is a welcoming, clean and
decent place to stay during your Providencia's vacation. The
price is not exactly cheap, but neither as expensive as the
other Decameron facilities. Rooms are nice, quite big and
with the cable tv. Washrooms are big, with a nice hot
shower. The service is very good: they even folded my
clothes, which were scattered around the room, and placed
them in the closet. Under the hotel there is a big
(considering where you are) grocery store with yummy
croissant and cookies. The owner can hook u up with a
fisherman, who can take you out on a three-hour fishing
trip, and then you can eat what you have got, for free.
At 8 in the evening there is the pick-up service for
Roland, which is the only night activity (unless you are a
married couple) of the island.
