"A great hotel in a lot of ways,"
This was a great hotel in a lot of ways, but
unfortunately I think the location rules it out as
a
future choice for me. First, the good stuff: The
staff
was friendly, the hotel was clean and
comfortable. The
rooms were spacious, and the
breakfast was okay (some
packaged stuff though).
It’s really stylish, and on a
quiet street in a
safe neighborhood. Now, about that
neighborhood.
It’s far. From everything. The nearest
subway is
about 15 minutes away, and that’s the end of
the
line. Plus it closes before 11pm, which isn’t
really conducive to life in Buenos Aires, even
eating dinner out. There are busses and taxis
though, but I was a little scared of the bus
system
and taxis add up. I definitely wouldn’t
recommend it
to people who want to be out partying
every night. So,
if you’re willing to deal with
the location, go for
it. It’s a nice place. It’s
just, well, far.
