"It was a good experience"
I’ve stayed at other Axel Hotels before, and this
one,
unfortunately, didn’t quite match up. The
hotel in
general was well designed, and the rooms
were
well-kept, but they seemed to kinda fall
apart in the
details. The hotel staff was great,
but the restaurant
service wasn’t, the bottled
water promised on every
floor wasn’t available,
and the music was always on. I
mean, always. I
like that kind of music, but it got to
be a little
much. Overall, I think it was a good
experience,
but I think they still have a ways to go
to match
up to the other hotels in the chain
(Barcelona,
for example). If they make some minor
improvements, I would definitely recommend it.
Like
I said, the rooms were comfortable, and
that’s really
important. And the pool party on the
weekend was fun
for a while, but again, the music
was just too loud.
But overall the atmosphere is
good, especially if you
want to party and mix and
mingle.
