The façade is sleek, simple and gray — somewhat misleading, considering the décor inside. With sophisticated eccentricity and only 12 rooms, Mansion Vitraux does have the coziness of a mansion, but is also dripping with avant-garde style, not something usually pictured when thinking of a mansion. Design is evident from the general atmosphere, to the rich, beautifulmaterials used throughout, down to the candles.

Each room is uniquely and exquisitely decorated, from sleek Moroccan inspiration to a bright ice and water inspired room, to a room with black walls, tasteful pink velvet, and glass and marble surfaces or a modern Louis XV inspired room. Linens are of Egyptian cotton, toiletries are of the highest quality, and the lighting hasbeen expertly designed for the perfect ambiance.

The hotel also offers Spa Bleu, with a heated pool, a sauna, a gym, and the most relaxing atmosphere you can find in Buenos Aires. Cava & Lounge Shiraz is, again, brilliantly designed, and offers an extensive selection of wines and cocktails. The cuisine is varied and delectable, as well as beautifully presented. Terraza LasCópulas provides impressive views, as well as a counter-current pool and a relaxing Jacuzzi.

San Telmo is a neighborhood known for its nostalgic air of Argentina past, and its cobblestone streets and antique shops provide hours of amusement. Other points of interest in Buenos Aires are easily accessible, thanks to the extensive public transportation system, as well.
